spring 2018

Opening soon!

Sugar House opens for the season:
March 1, 2018 to April 1, 2018

OPEN: Thursday to Sunday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Closed: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

After production season is over the farm store closes. So we encourage you to stock up while we are open during maple season.

Through the summer and fall our maple syrup products are carried at various local farm markets. Check these out on the website. Most are open by end of May. Can’t find the product you are looking for? Email us at

We open once again for a few Saturdays before Christmas.

Come by to see how your favourite maple syrup is made….

Thursday to Sunday 10:00 am to 3:00pm. (during the production season)

Experience the ambience of an authentic working maple syrup operation producing pure Ontario Maple Syrup.  Sample the first fresh drops of syrup, dip into some delicious maple butter and welcome spring!

Best to call ahead  (519-690-1086) to see that the weather conditions are favourable for us to have had a sap run and be ready to boil it all up into that delicious syrup. Early spring days with a day time high temperature of +5 degrees and a low of -5 degrees over night promises a great sap run.

Depending on the weather, seasonal production takes place mid-February through March to early April.

On days when the weather cooperates, enjoy tours of the sugar house, see demonstrations on how we make our famous maple syrup and taste our unique maple butter and delicious maple syrup. Browse around the sales area to see and sample unique food products, all with a hint of maple!

We welcome one and all however at this time we are unable to accommodate school tours.
We do not charge an admission fee. Sorry we do not serve a breakfast.

“When made in small quantities…maple syrup has a wild delicacy of flavour that no other sweet can match. What you smell in freshly cut maple wood, or taste in the blossom of the tree, is in it.
It is then indeed, the distilled essence of the tree.”
Naturalist John Burroughs, 1886

Christmas 2018

OPEN  Saturdays leading up to Christmas….

to be announced

10:00 am – 3:00 pm

After closing the farm store in the summer and fall to carry on with planting and harvesting our other farm crops, we re-open the sugar house for the few Saturdays before Christmas.

We transform our quiet little corner into all things Christmas. Our tables will be overflowing with Christmas gift baskets ready made in all sizes and price points. We proudly prepare each basket with our maple products made right here on the farm and then add sweet maple goodies to round out a perfect gift. Come by and sample our signature maple butter – a must have on the table for family breakfasts over the holidays. A dollop on warm muffins, scones, croissants or waffles will be irresistible.

May we suggest maple syrup as the perfect gift this year? Brighten the season with a thank you for your boss, co-workers, your dear grandpa, the stylist, mail carrier, and the student off at school or the fellow who just plowed your lane! How thoughtful!

Step away from the hustle and bustle and into the quiet of our sugar house simply decorated with hand hewn beams, pine boughs and sleigh bells. Have a seat by the fire and enjoy sweet treats and sip some hot maple cider. We can solve all your gift giving problems.

Our baskets and maple products often find their way into the homes of friends and family at New Year’s too. Welcome 2019 with a New Year’s Day breakfast. Peek at our recipes for some great brunch ideas.
